Vineyard Stake TREK
The WHY: Treks provide powerful opportunities for youth Come to Christ. To strengthen testimonies, learn core gospel principles, build unity, feel gratitude for the sacrifices of the pioneers, appreciate their blessings more fully, and seek and find guidance to overcome challenges. To be closer to wanting to go on missions and receive & keep all temple covenants.

To be closer to wanting to go on missions and receive & keep all temple covenants.
WHO: Trek is for all youth in the Vineyard Stake who will turn 14 this year through 18 years old and adults who have been given a calling or assignment to attend.
WHAT: We will pull handcarts along a portion of the Mormon Pioneer National Historic Trail, camp on the open prairie, and hear stories of the Willie and Martin Handcart companies of 1856.
WHEN: We will leave the morning of Wednesday June 12, 2024 and return the afternoon of Saturday June 15.
WHERE: We will camp near Martin's Cove, Wyoming at the Cherry Creek campground. We will complete two treks while we are in Wyoming, Sixth Crossing & Martin's Cove.Â
